Jake Gyllenhaal, the Oscar nominee, finally responded to a question asked about his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, during the Facebook live session. He sat down with the Jeff Bauman, the Boston Marathon bombing survivor who lost his both legs due to attack and whom the 36-yr old actor portrays in his upcoming movie Stronger. The two men talked about their favorite restaurants and Boston-based films, before the double amputee asked about the world-famous singer.
“If you lost your legs in real life, do you think Taylor Swift would write a song about it?”, Jeff Bauman asked Gyllenhaal. The Hollywood actor replied in the form of a question by saying, “For me, or about it?”. Then, Baunman said, “For you. Like a country song,”. Gyllenhaal responded, “She sort of moved more into pop now,”, smartly ending the talk.
The couple dated for 3 months in the year 2010 and it is said that Taylor Swift has sung some songs corresponding to the movie star such as “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “All Too Well”. Earlier this year, during an interview with The Guardian, Gyllenhaal was asked about his history with the Grammy winner, to which he replied, “I think when you’re in a relationship, you are constantly scrutinized, your friends are scrutinized, but…”. He said, “I would love to not talk about my personal life”, after a follow-up question asked about Swift by the reporter Tim Jonze.
Recently, When Jake’s sister Maggie Gyllenhaal appeared on ‘Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen’, she was questioned about the rumor that the popstar had left her scarf at the family’s house years ago. To which, she responded, “I never understood everybody asked me about this scarf? What is this? I am in the dark about the scarf. It’s totally possible. I have been asked this before!”.
